TO CALCULATE THE AREA OF A CIRCLE
Divide diameter in half to get the Radius*
Multiply Radius by itself
Multiply total by 3.14
Multiply by depth in feet to get cubic feet
Divide by 27 to determine cubic yardage
EXAMPLE 18’ X 3’ DEEP
Divide 18’ in half = 9’
9’X 9’ = 81 Square feet
81 X 3.14 = 254.34 = Area of circle
254.34 X 3’ (depth) = 763.02 Cubic feet
763.02 Divided by 27 = 28.26 Cubic yards
